Before you go sending random messages maybe your question has already been answered here. Check out the FAQ's below and if that doesn't cover it hop over to the Contact page and send a message directly to Mea.
Where can I buy Mea's Artwork for myself?
If you see something you like you can buy it directly from Mea herself. Everything is usually offered to Patreon supporters first, followed by Nesties (Members of her facebook group), before being put up for sale to the general public in her Shop.
Usual procedure for Patreon/The Nest is to notify Mea you're interested in a piece, and if it's available she'll mark it sold and let you know. As soon as you message her with your email and shipping addresses, an invoice will be sent to you you via PayPal. Once payment has been cleared your art will be shipped to you.
If you see something in her store that you like, simply click the "buy" button, run through the secure checkout, and once notification of payment has been received your art will be on it's way at the first available opportunity.
What’s your return policy?
I'd prefer that you be satirised enough with your art purchase that you don't want to return it. If for any reason that's not the case, send me a message via the contact form or via direct email and we'll see if we can't work together to resolve your issues. If it cannot be resolved via a conversation, ship it straight back to the return address included on your parcel and a refund will be issued upon receipt.
Do you ship overseas and to P.O. boxes?
Yes, we’ll ship your package anywhere that can accept deliveries! I can even ship to gift recipients if you prefer; just let me know via message your recipient's address and we'll get it shipped to anywhere in the world you want it to arrive.
Shipping is generally charged at a flat rate of $25 per parcel, and you're actually most welcome to use that to your advantage and purchase over the course of several months if you prefer. Everything can be packaged as you purchase and when you're satisfied your box of goodies can be shipped together so you get a single package of awesomeness instead of multiple shipping charges.
Where does everything ship from?
It all comes directly out of Mea's house in Adelaide, South Australia. Shipping from and by her own two hands, which can make things a little awkward at times, but that's part and parcel of running a small business by yourself.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
As Mea does everything herself and does it all by hand, sometimes packaging your order can take a little while. However, she will keep you updated as to the status of your order, and everything is guaranteed to ship with tracking. Meaning the second your parcel has been handed to the post office you will receive a private message with your tracking number and details on how to see where your parcel currently is, and from there is should take a maximum of 10 days to arrive on your doorstep.
However, that said we use Australia Post to ship everything, and thus once it is passed over to them we cannot guarantee when exactly it will arrive. I am aware there have been problems in the past with tracking not being added to a parcel, parcels not being scanned at each depot, and parcels being delivered without warning thus the recipient not being home to accept said delivery and having to run to the post office to fetch it themselves as tracked parcels are not supposed to be left unattended.
Any problems with postage are the responsibility and fault of Australia Post and, after 15 days, if your parcel still has not arrived I will do whatever it takes to follow up with AusPost myself to locate your parcel and see that it's found and delivered to you in a more timely manner. I haven't yet had to do this, but if it comes to it I will happily advocate on your behalf with Australia Post.
Do you have customer service?
I should like to hope so, but seeing as this whole operation is currently run purely by Mea (with occasional help from her Fiance) please bear with us. We'll try to answer your messages, resolve your issues, and get your parcels to you in the best time-frame we possibly can. Mea does also work a near full time job that keeps her out of the house for 12 hours a day, but that won't stop her.
How can I get my hands on a custom piece of art?
Right now Mea doesn't take customs for either digital, traditional or OoaK items except under exceptional circumstances. The obvious exception is Patreon Supporters; if you wish to have a custom digital artwork made for you, then you can sign up to support her via Patreon in the $10 tier, and let her know it's for a custom artwork.
Every month she'll set aside time to work on your custom piece via "Ladder Art"- that is one month you will get a sketch, the next month she will do inking, followed by flat color, details, backgrounds and anything else that needs to be done to bring you piece to life.
This allows her the flexibility to get your artwork done without burning herself out on a singular piece in a short time. I know it doesn't seem ideal, but honestly, it's the best way to get the very best piece of work done. You'll be able to have input and make changes as the piece progresses, so you can be certain that the final product will be worth the wait.
You just need to sign up for a free Patreon account, choose the right tier, and notify Mea that you're saving for a piece. Always happy to discuss your ideas via Private Messages on Patreon before starting or before you commit yourself to monthly payments. However, no work on your art will be done until your monthly pledge is complete.
